No place for terrorists and militants: Hasina
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today sought greater cooperation of people and information from them in tackling militancy and terrorism more effectively.
“We’ve taken quicker decisions (against terrorism and militancy) than European countries and America…we’ve been able to face any incident whenever it happened…we’ve proven that. So, we need more cooperation and awareness of people,” she said.
“Terrorism and militancy are a new problem for the country. It has been created by the collaborators of anti-liberation forces. The people of the country are alert against it. An operation is now on against such activities,” she said.
The Prime Minister said her government has been able to tackle the situation through a quick decision. “There’ll be no place for terrorists, militants and killers in Bangladesh, neither the politics of killing, coup and conspiracy.”
